Privacy
LoosenUp is built so that what you feel and write stays with you.
Stays on your phone
Your name, moods, feelings, breaks, journal, safety plan, trusted person and settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us. You can export them as a backup, or erase them, in Me.
What reaches our server
- Daily reminders on the website: your browser's notification address, the time you chose, your time zone and language. Turning the reminder off deletes it.
- Organisations, only if you join one and turn sharing on: weekly averages (mood, calm gain, number of breaks) and up to three feeling labels from a fixed list. No names, text or device ids. A week is shown to the organisation only when at least five people on five networks shared.
- LoosenUp Plus: a hash of your Plus key, your plan, and the subscription status and renewal date from the payment provider. No name, email or card details.
Payments
Payments are handled by Razorpay (India) and Paddle (elsewhere). They collect the payment details needed to charge you and send receipts, under their own privacy policies. We never see your card or UPI details.
No tracking
LoosenUp has no advertising, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Location is used only on your phone, if you ask it to sort places near you or to add it to an SOS message.
Your choices
You can use every free feature without sharing anything. To have server data removed, turn off the reminder, leave the organisation in Me, or cancel Plus; or reply to your payment receipt to ask us.
